SE Asia ’24 series | a very laid-back Thailand trip | travel entry
It was our first time to be in Thailand.
When we say ‘laid-back’, it was literally a laid-back trip. Not much of an itinerary. 🙂
As a tourist, we didn’t do much of the touristy things. We did go to a few places like the temple and palace. The rest were to immerse in the locals’ everyday lives like going to the local markets and shops; would having our meals in some family-owned restaurants. I would say it was a wholesome experience.
My main realisation of this trip was that the vibes and culture were quite similar back home in the Philippines. The food, people and weather.
