I was shown how Indian naan bread is being made – Once again it was time to investigate a kitchen here while traveling Malaysia
Welcome to episode 21 of my trip all around Malaysia. If you haven’t seen the previous episodes you can watch them here:
Indian naan bread is quite popular. So far, I only tried Roti but never Naan bread. So it was time to change that. I was invited into a kitchen of an Indian restaurant here in Batu Ferringhi, Penang and they showed me how to make naan bread. To make naan you have to use a very special oven. They also explained me the difference between naan and roti. Quite interesting for me! Of course, after we were finish making the naan bread, I also had to try it. Let’s see if I liked it more than roti.
These are the experiences I really enjoy while traveling Malaysia or traveling southeast Asia in general. It’s always interesting for me to meet local and see how they prepare food or where they hang out etc. When you travel southeast Asia or travel Malaysia specifically, most people are very friendly and open towards foreigners here. Just step out of your comfort zone, meet them and start a conversation. One of the best things while traveling southeast Asia.
