1. Eguisheim –
A colorful medieval village in Alsace that looks just like Beauty and the Beast, there’s even an old castle overlooking uphill ! a true fairytale
2. Grignan –
A bit north of Provence, imagine a gorgeous renaissance castle in the middle of a traditional southern village surrounded by lavender fields… and all of that far from the crowds !!
3. Cordes-sur-Ciel –
The most well preserved medieval town i’ve seen in France so far… walking down these streets i forgot it was the 21th century and felt more like a knight in search of new adventures ⚜️
4. Château de Chenonceau –
There is no shortage of castles in the Loire Valley, but this one has the edge in my heart because of how it stretches romantically across the Cher river… if it weren’t real, someone would have written about it for sure !
