Happy Summer Holidays! After months of lockdown, tourism is slowly restarting in France. We brought our Parisian family to the Chamonix valley in the French Alps for an intense week of exploration in the mountains. Our favorite day hike was the Lac Blanc in the Red Peaks area, which offers crazy views of rocky mountains, several lakes, green plains, glaciers, and snowy mountains, including the Mont Blanc! Rising 15,774 ft (4808m) above sea level, the Mont Blanc dominates the Alps and is the highest peak in Western Europe.
