    My First Impressions of Eastern Europe: Sofia, Bulgaria

    After finishing our 5-day roadtrip from Istanbul, Turkey to Sofia, Bulgaria, this was Karina and I’s first full day in the beautiful country of BULGARIA and my first time EVER visiting Eastern Europe.

    As an American, I had certain stereotypes of Eastern Europe and honestly, didn’t know much about it since not many tourists visit (compared to Western Europe), so it was fun to explore Sofia and see if those stereotypes were actually true!

      It was so nice to spend a week or two in Sofia, and I would have loved to stay longer, but it was also more expensive than I was expecting. It might be the cheapest country in the EU, but it's still a lot more expensive than Asia. lol

      banitca with airan,or yogurt(bulgarian kiselo mliako),breth,with lutenitca and bulgarian white cheese and lukanka and try Bansko,Plovdiv,Arbanasi,Veliko Turnovo,Varna,Burgas,but Sofia hahaha.Here is the motherland of you call slavic,but is bulgarian alfabet,old church slavonic is old bulgarian,first books are made here and spread to Kievan rus and other towns,we feel russians,ukrainians all russ speakers,are our,how to call spirit children and God forbid this war in Ukraine,but greedy rullers just dont care m…..rs .Healt and happynes
