We speak Italian aswell because in the past people who spoke Maltese were called stupid and stuff idk why and people who spoke Italian are smart so the Maltese studied Italian and it's also because we grew up on Italian tv shows

The new generation of maltese people dont actually speak italian that much anymore
Too bad 3/4 of the population is now foreigners
