  1. Hi Betwixt. I read Cujo years ago and all of the Stephen King books and Dean R Koontz, I was into sci-fi. But I put it on my Kindle recently and couldn't read it at all, maybe I'll get back to it at some stage. Also, I'm in Andalucía, they have these boxes in a few places along the beach where ppl put their books when they're finished with them, but there's only rubbish in there. There is a fantastic second hand shop where I get all my clothes and whatever I need. I was in a bad way a year or two ago and prayed for a Bible and a week or two later, I got a beautiful leather bound German one and a while later I got a Spanish one (which I can read a bit with effort). I thanked God and chatted to him that I was getting closer. A couple of months ago I got two English ones, One was a thick heavy King James version and the other one was a Good News children's one and that's the one I like best, because it's easy. So I take from this that God is watching over me. Have you finally left Spain, not to return or are you on an adventure. Slán go fóill, hasta luego amigo

  2. I think that writer is Edgar Allen Poe, he was into that gothic horror. Cujo I would have great sympathy for. I had a dog, bigger than a St. Bernard, who would drool, and many would have been repulsed by him, but he was the best dog ever. He ate huge amounts, he had so many sicknesses over the years, growths, cancers, eye problems. The vet bills I'd put on my credit card and be sick with worry to be able to pay. Then he was on meds monthly, just so expensive. He'd be on that list now, that he's a dangerous breed. But he didn't ask to come into the world.
