The US should not be on this list. Yes, some of our dishes are authentic, but the majority of them are not. Pretty much, we just serve foods from other countries. Sometimes, we put an Americanized spin on foreign foods, such as adding meatballs to pasta dishes. The US does not deserve a spot on this list.

I had a feeling Italy would make the list. I grew up in a town where a lot of Italian immigrant families lived, and many of them had their own mom and pop restaurants. You can tell the lasagna you’re eating is legit when you hear the restaurant owners arguing with each other in Italian. Mario and Giuseppe might be cussing at each other for all you know, but the food sure tastes good! 🤤
The best place for food is Syria 🇸🇾 Syrian baklava is way better than Greek baklava. I'm Greek and Armenian. My parents were born and raised in Syria so I know what I am talking about
