Middle East Tour Amman Jordan Castles and Cooking

Today we tour Amman Jordan as begin our adventure touring Middle East. Our first stop is in Amman Jordan where we toured the desert just outside Amman and saw 3 desert castles.

Here are the 3 castles we visited:
Qasr al-Azraq 0r Lawrence’s Castle
Quseir ‘Amra – This is the castle with the frescos
Qasr Al-Harranah – This was the caravanserai

People ask us, is it safe to tour the Middle East now and our opinion is YES! We had a great time, and Jordan is an incredible country to tour. We say tour Jordan now! The crowds are small, and the people and food are amazing!

  1. You mentioned that this was a great time to go to Jordan. I don’t remember hearing you tell us when you were actually there. If you did, I’m sorry I don’t remember. Could you refresh my memory.

  2. Hi Nancy, Mike
I’m glad to see that you have new adventures in Jordan. I’ve always wanted to go to Jordan after watching Indiana Jones, to see the ruins of Petra. Now I can live vicariously through you.

  3. Wow, great first day.

    Love the cooking class.

We try to do food tours and interactive food tours in many places. Great way to experience the culture in the country

When we do long flights we do economy plus. Even if I am tired I still do not sleep much on a plane.
