One of my favorite family trips was to the quaint little town of Nymburk about 9 years ago…Praha Christmas Market and all the popups were fantastic. Cannot wait to visit again… The food, culture, architecture and people were great.
Did a whole trip starting at frankfurt, to hamburg, berlin, prague, munich, innsbruck then back to frankfurt. Prague was so good we stayed an extra day and changed our schedule for it. Next time we're gonna fly into prague and stay most of the time there. What an awesome place. (Americans, btw.)

We’ve been to Prague many, many times in the last twenty years. We’ve just returned from there again, and in the five years since we were last there it’s gone downhill. The place is now overrun with trdelnik/trdlocafe, absinthe, cannabis. bubble tea, vape, duck boutique shops and more and more Starbucks and Costas. It’s so sad to see. Fortunately this time we also visited Cesky Krumlov and Karlovy Vary – definitely worth a visit.
Coming for the Christmas markets. I’m concerned about the crowds.

Man E-Scooters are a freaking disease here in Budapest too.
Some districts also banned them entirely. And hungarian authorities restricted the use of them generally by requiring e-scooters to be operated with a driving license and mandatory insurance if they are capable for a speed above 30(? )kmh. Thus making them officially a motorized vehicle. But the issue with escooters isn't the scooter itself. But the fact that every idiot pleb can rent/own and drive them without any prior experience or knowledge in traffic laws. And they drive them around like crazy idiots on both streets and walkways. Usually kids and tourists. I have an e-scooter too but i hate e-scooter drivers as well. They are usually morons.

We did the Walking Tour with Lucie in December – it was awesome! And yes, the crowds in Prague were insane over Christmas. It took me by surprise just how intense it was and was the only thing than took the shine off an otherwise awesome city!
Except for the places closing down, I'm happy to hear about all these changes. Less drunk people, less noise, less buskers, less scooters. All good.
Coming back to Prague for y 6th or 7th time in March. Can't wait already.
What's new about it now? Many tourist facilities are closed out of season, have changed opening times and/or have reduced offerings. Out of season, it may even be that certain dishes are cheaper or entry to museums is cheaper.

Very inaccurate guide. Some things are correct, some are not. But I guess taking a picture of Old town square during an event and calling it an everyday crowd brings views. 😅
