  1. Bonsoir,

Merci pour cette vidéo très détaillée et informative. Je souhaiterais savoir si les hôtes de l'hôtel Relais Christine ont la liberté d'utiliser les produits Guerlain sans restriction 😊.

  2. Alain, an excellent selection of lovely places to stay in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The film was just the right length for each property and quality of your camera work was superior as always. We particularly liked the Hôtel du Danube , that was charming, historic, and wonderful price for quality. The Relais Christine looked wonderful, particularly the first room you showed with the garden.
There is no shortage of great 5* properties in the 6th arr., we usually pick the exquisite L'Hôtel on Rue des Beaux Arts.🥂

  3. I have always wanted to stay on the Isle Saint Louis. Please do a comparison video of the hotels there. One can never really judge a room's size from the hotel pictures, for example. Thanks.

  4. Fine video! Thank you. All three hotels are charming and attractive. For me, now I need to learn about hotel offerings in the Saint Georges neighborhood. Keep up the good work.

  5. If youve got 3 full days max in Paris youre going to be out and about all day so you only need the basic comforts in your room . Of course if youre there for a longer spell thats different. That toilet decor was very trippy. Nice to see this range of places. I think St Germain des Pres is way over-rated. I like the (apologies) scruffier (a tiny bit) end of the 6th around St Placide,Notre Dame des Champs and off Rue d'Assas.
Hotel Perrevye on corner of Rue Madame + Fleurus is just a few minutes walk from luxembourg gardens. In 9th arr.Hotel.St George Lafayette is in a quiet st not all like the naughty Pigalle area + the bus stop for the public bus up to Montmartre is just round the corner. Save your legs!

  7. Thank you so much for your recommendations they're fantastic! Notingh better than a Parisian recommending adorable places there I truly appreciate it and I always enjoy your videos and tips!

  8. Good video of some very neat places in my favorite Parisian neighborhood, like so many others. I've been fortunate enough to have now visited Paris over thirty times during the last forty years and all but one of them were in the Latin Quarter. I did the Relais Christine over New Year's a few years ago in a split level room on the opposite side of the courtyard as the one featured here. And I stayed in the Hotel St Andre years ago when it was still only a two star, and sadly remained scarred by that experience. I've often passed the hotel Danube on my daily walks but never stayed there, although I have tried three others nearby on rue Jacob. Now my favorite location is just off Rue St Andre nearer to Place St Michel, and I stayed there for the duration of the Olympic Games in their top floor apartment (for the price of a small car!). Everyone's tastes are different and ultimately what keeps me coming back to my favorite "residence" now are the staff who I've gotten to know, and its vibrant location just a croissant's throw from the Seine (with a clear view of St. Chapelle's dreamy spires. Yes, we'll always have Paris!

  9. RELAIS CHRISTINE brings back so many wonderful memories. When I first went to Paris, I stayed there and the service was impeccable and the room was very elegant. Great breakfast buffet was lovely. Unfortunately I remember the room being too small but it had windows over looking the garden. Highly recommend it.

  10. We stayed at Hotel du Danube 40 years ago, and again, when we returned for our 25th wedding anniversary. It looks just as charming as when we first in love! I think we may return there when we visit Paris in 2026.🥰

  11. Those are all beautiful hotels. They look like wonderful options in Saint Germain. Just curious….do you have any thoughts or videos about Hotel Bel Ami in Saint Germain?

  12. I had the good fortune to stay in a Relais Chateaux property in the states, just outside Boston. Beautiful property, as is this, with excellent food and drink, service!! Wish I could visit Christine too❤
