Cycling Across the Pyrenees: Can We Do This?
The Pyrenees don’t give up their secrets easily… and we need to fight for every metre of elevation gain as we showcase the next 3 days of our journey across the mountain range.. In Part 2 of our journey, we find ourselves in the high mountains which mean the big climbs lay ahead of us.
We take on some of the most famous climbs of the Tour de France—Col du Tourmalet, Col d’Aspin, and the Col de Peyresourde. Shrouded in clouds, we take on the climb of the Tourmalet, tackling the steep gradients, only breaking free into the open sky in the final stretch of the famous climb. We push deeper into the high mountains, and eventually finishin the heart of the Ariège.
This riding in this section was some of the most toughest and equally its most breathtaking. How do we get on riding these long and steep climbs?
Watch now to find out!

Brilliant video guy's….bringing back memories from the late 80's early 90's for myself….loved the Pyrenees ….absolutely stunning ❤🥂
Fabulous scenery even more beautiful than I remember took me right back to 1989.
Inspirational riding
Even felt your pain and you certainly earned those crepes.
This really takes me back!
Kudos to you guys for riding loaded bikes up those cols, must be too exhausted for a happy dance. Beautiful scenery
Seek Travel Ride , It was incredibly perfect, holiday-trip, I watched it with great pleasure. (You have 211 video memories, it will be a long tour for me too.) Stay healthy and stay on tour, goodbye,
Great video. Amazing scenery. We have to come back for sure!
Awesome job conquering those brutal climbs on a loaded bike! I can imagine the views and the markers were great motivation for you. Love to see how you support each other ❤
You two are amazing – the climbs are savage and with the panniers!!! Undoubtedly one of the best cycling video trips I’d yet seen. Is there a map of the route?
You're making me fall in love with the Pyranees! I'll need an ebike, though. Full credit to you both for making it up all those ferocious climbs and still being able to smile at the end of each day!
Dear Bella, you two are doing crazy climbs there. What kind of elevation gain was the per day? Impressive, and then the lovely scenery, beautiful (and so green 😉 Greetings from the Western Sahara <3
PS: how many of your guests did choose headwind over climbing? Asking for a friend…. 😢
Finally found time to watch this – of course we started with Ep.2. Thanks for the shoutout, and hopefully catch you somewhere this summer!
This brought back memories of my first experience of Tourmalet in March 2022. I spotted in your video where snow closed off the top and you hike a biked it across the ski race course to much hilarity Bella. Bringing laughter in your wake 🤣🤩
