2018, the year I rode the best two coasters in the state of Virginia, and solidified myself as a thoosie.
Hey! I'm going to be racking up 63 credits when i go to SFGAm, SFOT, SFOG, and CP this summer. Do you have any tips for those 4 parks? This is my first round-trip journey to a bunch of theme parks so any info can help!
I gained several coaster credits in 2018, Twisted Timbers at KD, and Wildcat, Sidewinder, and Laff Trakk at Hersheypark in December of that year. Volcano was closed both times I went to KD in 2018, but I got to ride it twice the year before.
I clicked faster then Teeny Weeny at Tusenfryd 😊😊😊
2018, the year I became an enthusiast!! Also the year both Infinity War and Smash Bros Ultimate came out which was the most I ever cared about crossovers
Hi again, keep up the great work
I believe that 2018 was also the 6th Anniversary of SkyRush.
I'll be looking for an updated/fixed video in the near future, surely an oversight!
Do a 2024 edition
2018 was a huge year for new coasters around the world. This was also the year that I went to my first amusement park, Hersheypark, and became a coaster enthusiast
Absolutely killing it with content lately. By far my favourite coaster channel
I am heading to Disney Sea this month so I am hoping to get to fantasy springs so this is timely for me! Although of course the Universal rides, Thunder Dolphin and if i can get the quick pass and its open the legendey Eejanaika on my travels. I also remember standing at the edge of toystory land and seeing Galaxy's Edge. Those were exciting times in parks.
Still can’t believe they removed fire hawk and we got a piece of crap boring giga in its place
I have a video idea: What you think will happen to the coasters of California’s Great America.
I was a senior in high school when the Eagles one. Interesting times. My parents divorced that October and ended up flunking Comp 1 because of that (somewhat because I hated the professor, so I was less interested in doing the work vs my major course and sociology was enjoyable. Oh, and math is math)
2018 i called myself a coaster enthusiast for the first time. Never looked back.
In 2018 I went to six flags great escape the last ride of the night for me was comet the light would turn off in the station each time a train dispatched probably one of the best rides I have ever ridden the airtime on all the hills was ejector and the train felt faster than the listed speed of 55 mph I’ll never forget it
Go birds!!
I have a video idea. Could you do a top 10 best coasters at a family fun center I have only been on one and was a E&F Miler kitty ride and I’m pretty sure that’s the only coaster that’s in a 100 mile radius from me
2018 would be Russia’s last World Cup before getting banned
Magnum XL 200 vs. any B&M Hyper — Raging Bull at Cedar Point would be like the 2018 Warriors
…wait stan lee has been dead for how long!!!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!
Referencing the Raptor model and it's growing popularity, did anyone ever hear any follow up on that Raptor that was coming to the water park in South Dakota? And on a similar note, did anyone ever hear any follow up on the Vekoma Boomerang rumored to be coming to the Nashville Zoo?
Sea world parks are way superior to six flags parks in most ( not all ) areas. Glad six flags didn’t buy sea world.
Why no spinning back car in the USA? I am stunned this isn’t in the USA yet
Another new video? I’m so wonderfully blessed.
Not gonna lie, I’m so glad six flags didn’t buy sea world in 2018. I could only imagine what my favorite park (Busch Gardens Williamsburg) would be like now under their control. I feel like I wouldn’t like it at all
I’ll never forget when the raptors were unveiled. When I rode WW at SFFT it felt so unreal. Still a personal fave because of how whippy they are. We need more
You should make a video about the best coaster in the Ohio valley
No 1 should be Airtime thrills channel started
Jack Kirby and Steve Ditkos' characters that is..
10:10 Yeah… controlled as in the rotation speed is limited. Not preprogrammed. Great video. 🙂
For Toy Story Land I was there on its opening day. It was people stew.
As Kings Island being my home park, I missed out on riding Firehawk when it was there. I had an over 10 year drought of not going to KI. Firehawk is one of the rare exceptions of myself not riding every coaster in existence at KI. The only other is Bavarian Beetle.
And Stan Lee is missed. He was our generation’s Mark Twain.
Why list all the dumb stuff only some Americans know?
Is this… the end?
Is vekoma part of S&S?
I went to Dollywood in July of 2018 for my 11th birthday, it was awesome, rode all the coasters and even a discontinued ride that I don’t know the name of, it was a ride that you sit in a tobaggon or mat and you ride down this track. Got great close ups of wild eagle that was cool. Knowing now I would’ve gone to kings island instead because I never got the credits of vortex or fire hawk 🙁
Wodan was the first wooden coaster that combined fire and wood. Don't trust theme parks with their stupid 'records'. 😉
#11: Some guy from California buys a microphone …
2018 was the year I rode Skyrush for the first time, so that's my number 1 event from that year lol
2018 was the year I first went to Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm. That was the year Incredicoaster became my all-time favorite coaster. It was surpassed in 2023 by Velocicoaster.
Chris, you're dead wrong, Slinky Dog Dash was the coaster of 2018 that everyone was talking about.
2018 was the year i became a coaster enthusiast! i came back from cedar point with friends and got super into coaster youtube. gemini was my favorite that i rode at CP but thats because i'm still scared of the big coasters after being forced onto millennium force by a friend during that trip. now my favorite coaster is mystic timbers at KI! thanks for covering 2018!
Great video! One of Your best!
Funny that 2018 was the year I got back into going to amusement parks, getting season passes to cedar fair. Was the first time since 2002. Got into your channel the following year and you’ve been my favorite coaster YouTuber since, with El Toro Ryan a close 2nd lol. I’ll join your patreon as soon as work picks up for the year. I’m a roofer so my income takes a sharp dive come winter.
15:45 I'd vote for that guy! Airtime Thrills for Prez.
You think you could do a mini documentary on how the pandemic impacted the coaster world? It's been 5 years this year, and I think there were lots of lessons learned by parks…
