If you come back to northern Germany, Hamburg should definitely be on your bucket list. And there is a must-see: Germany's most popular tourist attraction: the Miniatur Wunderland
This video is already 6 years old and there is much more to see now…but it gives you an idea of what to expect https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrSD1tDn_Bw
including Formula 1 races https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqT0u6QDJtg
If you don't go to Schleswig-Holstein, you never experience the real north of Germany. 😉😊
If you'd come back to Bremen, you should explore the city by bike. Have several vids about this on my channel.
So you're up north … and dont eat fish? Disappointing … and stereotypical.
P.S.: There is a "hate-hate relationship" between (Werder) Bremen and Bayern (München) …
"The north" isnt primarily "Bremen, Hamburg, Kiel", but rather the land and the small villages and the Wattenmeer … and Boßeln … and tea … and Fischbrötchen / Krabben …
Very nice. You missed Münster . Here the 30 year old war was ended in 1648 ! It is a very nice city to visit
Dankeschön.
North Germany is breathtaking beautiful, both at the seas and in the cities and vilages. But as good as Matjesbrötchen are, after a week I need a Butterbrezn
To me, a guy from rhineland palatinate, the north of germany is actually a bit too "flat" and I do miss the woods, but on the other side its definitely a very beautiful part of germany!
I totally fell in love with the island of Fehmarn, It´s beautiful beaches, friendly people and cosy little towns and villages and fish markets. Definitely worth a visit in the hot summer months! You can get there by car or train.

If you´ve got the time you should also give the great islands Sylt and Rügen a chance! These 3 Islands are beautiful places hardly ANY american (at least here on youtube) ever visits!

These islands are my preferred travel destinations when I visit the north of germany, but nevertheless there are many other places like Hamburg, the northern coastline and the famous "Halligen" or the very beautiful cities of Rostock and Stralsund in the east of germany.
Thanks for uploading your video and a thumbs up!
I'm a German from the South, but my heart has belonged to the North since my childhood, so I very much appreciate your going up north :). Next time, go even further and explore the islands, like Sylt or Helgoland. Much to see, and very different from the south!
Congratulations for crossing the „Weißwurstäquator“ for the first time 😊
The real north is close to the Danish border .,….. you just visited north italy ( everything south of the river elbe is called so !)
You should also visit the north eastern Part …. Schwerin, Stralsund, the Island Rügen, Usedom etc pp
You definitely have to go next time to Eckernförde / Kappeln / Flensburg area. Such a lovely part of Schleswig-Holstein 🥰🥰🥰.
Greetings from Kassel in the german state of Hessia
Best time to travell Germany from Mai till Oktober because the weather
if you want something fresh nothing better that Spaghetti eis in Germany… I wished I knew how that was…..
Congrats😂 Bremen (brem', we are like Bostonians and dont speak it fully out) here! Moooin!
Moin!
Ok, if you like the calorie-rich spaghetti ice, fine, but try Schwedenbecher. That is the dessert you will like.
You have to visit the real Northern Germany: Schleswig Holstein! From Husum, Friedrichstadt, Flensburg, Glücksburg, Schleswig, Rendsburg to a couple of islands, like Sylt, Amrum, Föhr, Fehmarn etc. Take your time to visit it, because there is so much to see! Two weeks minimum! 😀
Northern Germany is a region stretching from the Dutch border in the west, across the Danish border high up in the north, to the Polish border in the east, with a coastline of 2,389 kilometers. If you have been to Bremen and Bremerhaven once and think you have seen the north of Germany, it is a bit like flying to New York, driving through the Bronx once and thinking you have seen the USA. I know that Americans traditionally believe that Bavaria is the same as Germany because American soldiers were mainly stationed in Bavaria, Hesse and Baden-Württemberg. But – dear American friends – Germany is much bigger, Germany has many very different landscapes, it is home to many very different peoples who all see themselves as Germans, and it has many very different cultures – including very different cuisines. So if you live in Bavaria, then still take advantage of the many opportunities to travel through Germany and visit all parts of the country – you know the south, visit the exciting west, the beautiful east and the fascinating north. When you have done all this, you can tell your American fellow countrymen that you have seen Germany.
You need to go and see the peak top of Pinneberg! There is only one Helgoland
Moin from East Frisia, Lower Saxony! 😁
For the next trip to northern germany: reserve 1 day for Miniaturwunderland in Hamburg. In Schleswig-Holstein, don't waste your time in Kiel. Not much to see there. Travel to Lübeck, Schleswig/Haitabu the former viking town, and maybe the northfrisian islands.
And no hate, Kiel. I live there myself. But for tourists it isn't the best destination. Neither the views nor cultural sightseeing.
Your visiting the North, especially Bremen, and you were eating in the Paulaner a Schweinshaxe. Oh mate I don't know how to call it, but that was definitely an insult against my hometown.
Smile…Neuenhaus? Greets from Nordhorn 'bout 8 kilometers south and it's 5 times larger – nice for shopping or a boat trip. On this way is Lage with a old fashioned tea house and the Kloster Frenswegen, where Napoleon also stopped. A little bit further south is Bentheim with the castle. Have fun!
Forget about Bremerhaven , it's awful 🤫 Next time head more north – east , don't miss Lübeck , Stralsund and the beautiful Lake area of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ( Meckpom😉). Definitely a better choice . Greetings from a "Hamburger"
Hamburg, Lübeck (Ostsee) are really worth a visit

Welcome to the North! 🤗
Northern Germany has a lot to offer.
As already mentioned in the comments, especially the North and East Frisian Islands, the Halligen and our only offshore island, Helgoland, in the North Sea. Of course, don't forget the islands in the Baltic Sea.
The town of St. Peter Ording also offers a breathtaking beach. Have fun exploring Northern Germany!
When were you there? I work at Paulaner's 😂
As a Bremer citizen I really appreciate the way you talk about my hometown ❤😊
You have to visit the city of schwerin. I think you will love it. you can take a look in the net… have fun
Moin
Next time come to Oldenburg (about 45 km west of Bremen), you'll get delicious spaghetti ice in different variations at San Marco's😉. Send me a note and I'll show you around.
And then take a tour along the coast, visit one of the little fishing villages and take a day trip to one of the islands.

My unit spent a couple of months in Bremerhaven unloading American equipment off of cargo ships in Operation Desert Farewell. It's beautiful and so much daylight in the summer. The beach at Cuxhaven was great too.
So funny to see how you see Germany. I am from Bonn, living in South of France since 5 years. All the best for you.
Try Hamburg and the real North: Flensburg and Schleswig. If possible, visit the Frisian islands or Heligoland. Greetings from Hamburg!
