  1. I agree with the incentive pay….while the majority of the people respect the rules, there is always some world champion that thinks he/she can get away with anything….

  2. People suck. Airlines suck. Everyone is right yet everyone is wrong. If I can’t drive or walk I am not going. Let everyone else enjoy the ride.

  3. If giving a gate agent a $10 bonus for doing their job, that's up to the airline. Let them run their business the way they see fit. And it puts more money into the pocket of the employees.

  4. In JFK i hate to go after an international flight going from the passport control through a security check SAME TERMINAL (4) to transfer onto a next USA flight 🤦‍♀️

  5. It's the bag that is supposed to fit under the seat ahead where I see the most cheating. Then they take up the overhead storage space for the giant backpack that is full. It's annoying.

  6. i wonder by the tone of her speech if she is deaf… i used to have a deaf GF that talk like content creator… poor girl was cute and had issues in dating till i came along then after i date her she started to get more attention then she though she was to good for me lol.

i thought dating someone handicapped would result in a trusting relationship hahaha.

so far i had my bags checked free but its after them asking if they can check any bags by willing volunteers

  7. Doesn’t a plane use more fuel when there is more weight added to the plane? Isn’t plane fuel really expensive? All the extra bags brought on to a plane adds more weight to a plane causing a plane to use more fuel?

  8. So….. You're saying don't arrive to your gate early…….. So you can get away with breaking the rules like a too-large or overweight carry-on? So instead you'd prefer a mass flurry of people descending upon their gate at the last moment? Does that sound the least bit logical?

  9. Frontier Airlines is the worst. I went to Puerto Rico last year with two friends. Our backpacks were small, but one of the crew members said they were too big, and that we need to pay $99 for each bag if we wanted to board the flight. We had no other option but to pay almost $300. When we boarded, the flight attendant did not allow us to put our backpacks on the top compartments, stating that they all were going to fit perfectly under the sit. Even though we sent the complaint to the airline, they didn't do anything about it. I hope I will never have to use this airline in my life.

  10. Luggage abusers have become a big problem. With international flights they have always had me “ check in “ even if I have my boarding pass . My carry on has at time been one or two kg over . That’s why I also carry a “ murse “ 15 liter dry bag . So far so so good 😂

  11. Before I make my comment, just know I am not excusing rule breakers. That being said:

My backpack is usually hovering at the 15-20 pound mark and fits ANY airline's carry on size. I'd LOVE for a gate agent to check me. When they fail, my smart ass would probably say something like "no predatory bonus from me today. Too bad so sad" right after I get my ticket checked and get past them.

I HATE when others try to get overzealous on rule enforcement just because of an incentive. Your base pay should be enough or else go get another job. Don't try to make my life harder for YOUR commission. Either enforce the rules evenly and be happy with your salary or go get another job. Such an incentive could cause Gate Agents to lie about luggage weight to skew things in favor of getting that commission. Such an incentive also incentivizes dishonesty from the Gate Agents.

For example, if the limit is 30lbs and your bag is EXACTLY 30lbs, that travel agent might use dishonest tactics to tilt the limit higher (i.e. messing with the scale earlier in the day so close calls look slightly heavier, slipping a small item on the scale when nobody is looking, etc.). Heck, you can add an ounce of weight with just a small bit of water.

  12. If you see some of these “personal bags” people carry, you’ll understand why they’re getting targeted. Most won’t fit on the carry on much less personal bag check.

  13. I wish that they would check baggage size at the gates. They should have a rolling cart that they can go up and down the isles with to check suspect luggage. Would love for them to be pro-active…

  14. Stay away from Frontier especially, they will Rook you in a heartbeat. Don't try to cheap out with airlines in general (Allegiant, Spirit etc) because they will cheat when you are not up to speed on their dirty little tricks and you may wind up paying more in the long run!:).

  15. That delay and small increments, infuriating ngl. Mine ended up being delayed 6 HOURS and they kept incrementing by 30mins. After being awake for more than 24 hours, I was furious.

  16. The gate agents could get up to $100 per flight, times that by how many flights per day and they could get more than their weekly paycheck in one day in bonuses, simply by sending every carryon luggage to check in.

  17. I've no problem at all with the bonus if Frontier sees that as an appropriate way to encourage their agents to apply the rules consistently, it's the people getting away with over-large carry on baggage who are the problem. It's not helped by videos like this giving people tips on how to get away with being antisocial scumbags.

  18. Some of your advice promotes the bad behavior of some in flying. This behavior is nothing to promote but is offensive and annoying to passengers.

  19. I’m so sick of people and their carry on luggage. If you can’t afford to check it, don’t fly. You hold up the flight every time trying to get your luggage in the overhead bins and half of you need help doing it.

  20. I’ve always wondered why you recommend arriving 3 hours (as opposed to 2 hours) early for international flights. I have never had had my check in take longer for international flights upon departure. It does take longer on arrival as I have to clear customs. What am I missing?? (Thanks)

  21. Yes, please sneak in your extra and/ or oversized bags so I won’t have space for mine. Like the fatty who refuses to buy two seats and now I’m stuck with the overflow of flesh

  22. So what about musicians traveling with guitars?
I go to South America 6-8 times a year for rehearsals and concerts.
There used to be no problem (as I thought the obama admin addressed this way back when); now 50/50 for a huge hassle.
    Whats the 2025 rule?

  23. I traveled on vacation once or twice/year for 30 years by flying to destinations. I am glad I did that then, because now, the way this world is going, you couldn't get me on a plane. The whole flying experience is a nightmare.

  24. On a flight ✈️ long ago, there was a group that ran up to the gate at the last second of boarding, demanding all their stuff go “carry-on” as their large, bulky cargo was “music concert equipment”! They claimed to be a famous band that was trying to make their connecting flight to their next concert destination. Airline employees warned them they could not bring their bulky stuff on the carry on, it all had to go in the cargo hold, as there wasn’t sufficient storage in the carry on spaces. They threatened to sue the airlines, the employees and see just basically bullying the staff trying to get the plane ✈️ ready for departure! Then the airline employees told them there was insufficient cargo storage for all of their stuff, and the flight was full! The group/band was angry and became confrontational. I got on the plane, sat in my seat 💺 and waited for my flight to get going. I didn’t fare any of the group/band on the flight so they probably weren’t allowed on my flight.

  25. My last flight I was three pounds overweight on my checked bag. I removed the loaded backpack, then I was 15 pounds under. Then at the gate they asked me to gate check it. I explained that they had their chance. I carried it on the flight.

  26. I certainly do not mind agents getting a commission on enforcing the rules that are constantly being told to everyone. Some passengers can really be jerks to the agents when the PASSENGERS are the ones out of compliance. So yes, the agent deserves something to put up with that.
