AMSTERDAM to LONDON on the amazing high-speed Eurostar train!
Eurostar has finally resumed service from Amsterdam Centraal to London St Pancras International! Today I’m travelling in Eurostar Plus (First Class) for the high-speed train journey across four countries, to see what the service is like on-board a Eurostar e320 train, part of the Siemens Velaro family on this route. This video was filmed in May 2022, before the launch of the new waiting area.

Shall 2+1 configuration be banned?
It is basically a waste of space, thus making a greater CO2 footprint.
It may interest you to know that Amsterdam receives 40% more rain than London.
Dmmmmm you look so much better in 2025 than 2024
I can't wait for virgin trains to operate this route making it more affordable
Sydneysider here: 4 hrs wouldn't get me to Perth on an aircraft at over 850kmph.
Damn…
7:21 you looked surprised to find a mirror π€£
Groove for the phone is great place to forget it.
The new Eurostar terminal is even smaller π
Calling Heineken beer is a bit of a stretch. π
Great trip.
Cheeky Portuguese liveried NS 1600 at 8:30 π
Any of our dutch friends able to explain why it has that livery?
I love your video content, but theyβre becoming increasingly unwatchable due to the frequency of adverts. Unless these cut down Iβll be unsubscribing, Iβm afraid.
Planning on taking this trip later this year, but taking the boat from Harwick to NL, then going back to the UK via Eurostar after a few days.
BTW have you ever been on the Class 73 in Norway, they look so funky and with a top speed of 210 no slow
The terminal to the UK is now open !
I traveled by this train from London to Brussels some years back. Other than the undersea part that was boring, it was a great trip.
At 8:30, there's a loco to the left of the screen that looks to be Portuguese (based on livery)? Surely not… can someone explain (or tell me I'm going mad?)
Thanks but the eurotunnel is not on my list
Iconic.. please
Rotterdam isn't just the biggest harbour in Europe: it's the biggest harbour outside Asia, currently on the #10 spot world-wide. When I was a lad, it was still the largest. But that was quite a while ago.
Belgium by train always looks dilapidated. It did so 35 years ago, and things haven't improved.
11 platforms. Do you countboth sides of platforms next to tracks as 1 platform or 2. I'm only because 11 platforms seems wider than a football field.
your dutch is very good!!! liked the video!
I would take this video down, its completely out of date and therefore misleading, especially since you mention "the waiting area is crowded" which it wont be as of 2025
Look how much all that infra costs compared to planes doing that trip.
you post a video about the relaunch of Eurostar Amsterdam-London which happened a few days ago. But given the warm weather and trees with leaves in your video, it doesn't look like you took this train this week, my dear π π π
Standard class is far better with your own food
