1) travellers tip – never ever not have some cash available, a little US$ and a little local currency. 2) Slow down, be calm, take the hat off…👍😂🤗
Hi Camden David. Generally nice tips on both Istanbul and Cappadocia. I am compelled to add, 1. Maybe skip the Hot Air Balloon. Take a few instagram shots from the ground. 2. Don’t forget the even “far away” towns, which provide true peace at the very finest hotels and are still all served by tour company pickups (looking at you Mustaphapaşa) – we stayed at Cappadocia Estates. And 3. You can hire a car and driver through the hotel (well we could), rather than renting a car. Even without common language we enjoyed our driver (Hi Şefki!) and the experience he brought. Thanks for the video.
How much did it cost for the horse ride and for how long was it? And at which time do you recommend to take the ride?
Could you please share specifically which horseback riding tour you did? There are a lot of options online but yours seemed great!
Hello David, i am going to capadocia next week, but i am doubting if you pay a guide to visit around, we have our own rental car. The price of the guide is between 250-320 euros without food of entrances, that is why i am doubting if visiting by ourself of payment the guide. Txs a lot for the tip 🙂
Thanks for all these helpful videos on Turkey!
Thanks for this informative vedio. We are going to Cappadocia in October. Any suggestions for weather at that time ? Also how far is hot air balloon place from the hotel which is in urgup? And will the hot air balloon companies cover the pick up and drop from the hotel which you told in the vedio ? I think hot air balloon is in another town ?
And is there a roof top patio from where we can see the balloons flying in the morning
Is there any inexpensive place to airbnb? PS can we not use train to go to this place from Istanbul using istabulkart card?
Instead of using taxi you can take a travel bus. This is most cheaper.
New subscriber 🎉have you visited Alanya? Which airport do you recommend for Alanya?
I just have been in cappadocia, it was really beautiful. I travelled with a group so everything was organized. We just couldn't manage the balloon ride – the first day it was cancelled, and for the next days they wanted more money, 400€ instead of 280, but we didn't want to spend so much money on it.
Cappadocia is the most beautiful place on earth. ❤love everything about Turkey
Ample bus service from town to town, all hours of day'n'night. You don't need a car.
Could you please suggest me whether should I plan for the Cappadocia tour in the month of August?
Price?
Very useful tips. Is December a OK time to visit Cappadocia? Thanks!
No, it is Turkiye officially, and you should pronounce like Turkiye like everyone else. Turkey something you can consume but noone can't eat us anymore!!! So please have respect and never say turkey again as if there is such a country 😮
On March are good ???
Be prepared to be massively disappointed. Tourist trap.
You wanted to tip using a card payment ?? lol common man you’re supposed to be a seasoned traveler 🤦🏾♂️
Thank you so much for all your tips. Planning a trip to Turkey in May, and definitely making use of all your tips.
Can I take a drone under 500gm
We got the balloon flights for about €50 each the afternoon before the flight, thanks to our hotel reception! January 2025. Always go for the first flight. We did, it was almost life changing!
Hi. I am planning to go in march. Is it a good time or does it rain?
Thank you for your video. IT was well made and extremely helpful.
Great advice my man. My thanks!!!
