  6. I visited turkey around 6 years ago and I am Jewish. I was yelled at, spat on, had things thrown at me, kicked by turkish children and punched by turkish women. I was banned from visiting many ancient sites I really wanted to see and only allowed in a few stores, mostly Christian or non-muslim owned. I stayed at a hotel owned by Armenians which was very nice.
