  1. If Stonehenge excites you, then do a day trip to Avebury it's a town inside of stone circles where you can walk and touch the stones. Close by is Silberry Hill, a monolithic mound made around the time of the circles. Also, you have the West Kennet Long Barrow and the Cherhill Whitehorse nearby. To tell you how important Pubs are, the pub in Avebury it's parking lot is next to the center stone of the circles. It is a better pairing with Bath.

  2. A reason to chose Oxford over Cambridge is visiting near by Blenheim Palace they can be seen in a rush together but I suggest the weekend or better yet in 2 days in the middle of the week to cut down on visitors.

  3. Jaywick…Dover, Margate…Sandwich…Deal…Folkestone…i love these places because theyre lovely…oxford and Bath bore me now….but I obviously have had my fill of those places…because theyre a tourist trail..go off piste the people are nicer..

  5. Guildford and the surrounding
areas are beautiful and an hour's
    drive from London. Albury and
Shere are worth checking out 🌱🌷☀️✨👌

Great suggestions for day trips 👌

  6. You work for 40yrs to have $1M in your retirement, meanwhile some people are putting just $5K into trading from just few months ago and now they are multimillionaires

  7. Not a trip OUT of London, but an unparalleled experience: Take the Thames Clipper boat up or down the River Thames. We took one from Chelsea to Greenwich and it was unforgettable. You go under all of the bridges and get close-up views of everything lining the river.

  8. For Jane Austen fans, you have Alton and Chawton village (both the house she lived in with mother and sister's and her brother Edward 'big house') and on a separate day, highly recommend Winchester. If you go to Bath, take an extra day to explore Bristol's & floating harbour. So many places … Salisbury, Portsmouth, York etc. I've lived in England 21 years and still haven't been everywhere yet!

  9. Portsmouth! An amazing day trip to a town rich with naval and maritime history. We got to tour 2 ships – HMS Warrior and HMS Victory (Lord Nelson's ship). (tie in to London = Trafalgar Square Lord Nelson's Column)

  10. If you appreciate great architecture then go to Canterbury and see the Cathedral, the finest building in the World. 😊. Btw if you go to Paris for the day don’t even think about the Louvre, you’ll,spend more than half your day waiting to get in and then avoiding the crowds inside. Paris has much more worthwhile attractions when you’re limited for time.
