I would love to see excursions go out of that new area on Ocean Cay. I know there is snorkeling in the marine reserve. Next level up would be scuba diving, but those are your only 2 choices. As a consumer, I would like to see submersibles added to that lineup. What say you?
That's a trick question, the easy answer is any MSC ship at sea. (Not the transport ships)
Got the notification that Scrapbook Chris and Itsy Bitsy Beth are in the mail and on the way, 😊
Kitty will not allow Stash to upstage him, LOL
Sunset Beach, entrance fee is an arm and a leg, (boo Dave, just boo)
I've also heard it will be a island for the Explora ships
So far our favorite ship is the Seashore…. we love the darker colors used! We love a promenade that is closer to the water. We will be on the Seaside for our transatlantic coming this April. Looking at the World America just to try a mega ship.
"Wonder Twin powers, activate!" Now if you only had a pet monkey, you'd be all set.
I was on the MSC Opera with my wife in Europe (our first MSC cruise) a couple of years ago. Nice ship, great crew. The 2 most memorable things about that cruise was on one of the sea days the Captain and officers prepared a bar-b-que lunch for all the passengers out on the pool deck, it was incredible. the 2nd was the dance crew, they were pushing everyone to take the free dance lessons. I have pictures I can show you in April on the MSC World America – question: any idea when we can start buying the specialty dining? See you April 12th…
We have been on every MSC ship sailing in the U.S. we prefer the Meraviglia, really looking forward to the Grandiosa. Like leaving out of port Canaveral
Nice to listen to you guys. I booked Sinfonia for October 2024 and sadly MSC cancelled that sailing. I was Magnifica once and loved it. Beautiful classy ship. My fav is the Seascape though.
So excited about seeing Ocean Cay again and the changes. We will be on the Seashore in April. We will experience the Yacht Club for the first time. 👩🏻🦰💙🛳️
World Asia got her name since she will winter in Dubai which while technically Asia is not what most people think of as Asia. Was hoping she’d replace Bellisima but I’m guessing not many ports can handle a ship the size of World class which is why they are probably home porting World 4 at PC since many Caribbean ports have been built out to handle RCCL’s Wonder and Icon classes.
Thanks for this podcast, it was incredibly informative!
The MSC Poesia is the ship heading to Alaska next year!!!
Having self guided tours with headphones like the Biltmore would be awesome for the reserve.
Chris will love MSC's Explora Journeys. I and II are a little smaller than the Lirica class ships and holds up to 922 guests, but they never sail at full capacity. They are like a full ship Yacht Club. Our cruise went to Anguilla, Dominica, Guadaloupe , St. Martin, and San Juan.
Remember, you each get one free F1 simulator experience due to your Voyager Club status. Don’t waste your Fun Pass credits on that.
Arrived at the new Barcelona MSC terminal here on Saturday in week 7, with MSC Fantasia, which was the first ship to dock at the terminal. I’d also like to mention that everything looks small next to a ship like this. The location of the new MSC terminal is the furthest away, almost outside the city. Fortunately, there are constant shuttle buses to the city center. Fantasia was the first ship with the Yacht Club and this is evident throughout. The associated restaurant is located at the back of the ship, and it requires a longer walk through the entire ship, back and forth, but with a great atmosphere, similar to the Meraviglia class. Which is also our favorite because of the size and the number of activities.
We are taking our first MSC trip (Yacht Club to boot)on Seascape 5April, so we are excited. Yes Japan and Asia have some great ports to visit, I have made 8 cruises making stops all over Asia, there are so many things to see, I recommend them to anyone who wants to join the Navy.
