  1. Hope you enjoy this special part of Japan, the video took a lot of work, but I'm super proud of it. Please leave a like on the video above and let me know any thoughts!

  2. Wonderful video! 40 years ago i did a homestay program in Japan for two months. The father of the family was a big skiing fan and took his family and i up into a very un-touristy mountain ski town for a long weekend. Though our accommodations were far more crude than what you show, you capture the experience of retreating to the snowy mountains very well. Wonderful job!

  3. This is defiantly a trip I would like to do as well. I'm a mostly confident skier but as you mentioned it's the after ski Onsen that I would like to try as well. Yes, an Onsen etiquette vlog would be great. Greetings from London 🇬🇧. All the best!

  4. Glad to chance upon your video. I really enjoyed it and found it informative. Gonna visit Gunma and try snow boarding someday. Thank you for this great video, very well done and I’m gonna like and watch your other videos.

  5. I have just started to watch your video, and I am impressed, so I just subscribed. Your video is excellent, and after watching the Kusatsu Onsen part of it, I am looking forward to see the 2 other nights you spent in Gunma prefecture. Thanks for explaining about the reason for that "bath stirring" with huge wooden sticks and the Yubatake. I have seen both several times, but never knew the meaning of them.

  6. Perfect timing, almost spooky….We just started planning a trip to Japan yesterday and my husband wants to ski as part of the holiday. Hey presto, you publish the perfect video for us the very next day! Thanks so much for another top notch episode. One vote from us for an Onsen etiquette video too please 🙏

  7. Wow! Fantastic work!! I enjoyed every part of your video. Your explanation was very nice and impressive.
Yes, Gunma is a sacred place for retreats. Thank you!
