  1. I live in northern Taiwan, and I did search for the event. FurryTeaParty is the name of the party. The event has become a significant cultural celebration that brings together furry culture enthusiasts while also promoting tourism and cultural exchange in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

  2. @Gabrieltraveler you were the very first Youtube channel I started following back in 2015 I believe. May I ask you if the woman that knitted your beanie (both times) sells the, or would she make me one? Huge fan of yours, love your amazing work!

  3. Can't wait until you land in Taipei! ๐Ÿ˜„

00:16 — Turtle tank in a restaurant only means one thing: Yep, they're serving turtle, there. Yikes! I wonder what it tastes like. You'd think that after having tried Balut I would have eaten turtle, but, I have not seen an opportunity to do so.
00:55 — Mexican food, or what passes for it, is always good. Seattle has a proliferation of Tex-Mex stuff, which I wolf down.
Now, were the enchiladas done in the center, and piping hot all the way through? I judge mine by that criterion. Must be done and piping hot all the way through.
Horchata is one drink that should NOT be too sweet!
02:05 — You can always go to Don Burrito tomorrow, yes?
04:28 — Taiwan is THE HOME of … "stinky tofu", which is tofu fermented in a GAWD-AWFUL vat of God-only-knows-what (that looks black-green) and boy, does it taste peculiar. I brought this up because "stinky tofu" is one of the dishes of Taiwan and is beloved world-wide. Your fried tofu might well have been fried stinky damn stuff, Gabriel.
06:12 — I know what it is! Panipuri, Mate! Yup, Panipuri, but without the whole chickpeas, looks like. Panipuri is the ubiquitous snack of India and elsewhere (Dubai, too).
07:49 — Gotta love the panda suits! Had a good giggle over seeing them. PIty you didn't ask what was what. I'll bet one of the folks might have spoken enough English to have told you what was what, eh?
Recommendation of cities to visit in Taiwai: "Which is better for tourists, Taipei or Kaohsiung?

If only a couple days, Taipei has more to offer as a city than Kaohsiung. Kaohsiung is more spread out and industrial than Taipei but could offer a glimpse at a different side of Taiwan if you have more time. Tainan being the historical capital, is another option if you are interested in historical sites."
15:00 — I liked the sound FAR BETTER coming out of the camera you used at the beginning of this lovely video. Sound coming from the second camera, is quite tin-ny.
16:51 — Your walking by all that food made me hungry ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

  4. Looks lovely and vibrant at night. The markets looked lively with lots of food to choose from. A bit of fun walking with those people in the furry costumes. Very different! Great night tour. Thanks. โ˜บ๏ธ โค

  5. That sony looks and sounds bad brother. Whatever you were using at the beginning of the video was looking better and doing fine with the light. Thanks as always!

  6. even though it's almost 6 years old, the dji osmo action 1 still performs amazingly well for its age. the night footage you captured, in terms of stabilization and low-light clarity, is on point.
planning to buy one in a couple of weeks since it's only $160 here in bangkok. cheers, man!

  7. I thought the Sony camera video performance in low light was pretty good to be fair, although a little bit shaky as you warned – noted the sound quality wasn't quite as good as the Action

  8. Gabriel, long time follower, about the fried chicken experience, I was wondering if there is KFC franchise in Taiwan? I guess there are many ways to fry chicken๐Ÿ˜‚
