These aren't real changes that affect tourism.. And the ESTA thing is 6 years away… Also hotels in the states are way more expensive than anything I saw in Japan
I didn't even pay more than 40 USD a night even at most of the hotels I stayed at, and I changed hotels every 2 nights and stayed a lot of of the APA Eki hotels that had the nice baths and restaurants there. I think I paid the most for Hotel Edoya in Ueko and that was a really nice, traditional style hotel (meaning you sleep on the floor).
