The art of Slowing Down – strolling through Trier, Germany’s oldest city

I took a train from Luxembourg to Germany in early Feb 2025, to visit Trier for the day. The whole point of the day was to slow down, take in the sights and not feel compelled to ‘spray and pray’.

From the heights of Porta Nigra, to the stunning columns in St. Peter’s Cathedral, Trier has a lot to offer photographers, across any skill level. I can’t wait to go back!
