I've seen Europeans begging on the streets of Bangkok.
Some people in the UK actually want to go to jail because they are well looked after. No deterrent for an aimless layabout. The UK government should pay Thailand to take them in Klong Toey. They wouldn't go back a second time.

I'm slightly surprised that you can get by with your attitude in Thailand because apart from me and my boys I don't think my wife has ever told anyone off in her life. Even when we are being ripped off by taxis she complains to me but not to them.

They are in Jomtien and Pattaya. Great places for expats. I only swim in clean pools. Good up to date hospitals. Great
Western supermarkets. Lots of gym's.. Since there is lots of expats, way cheaper than Bangkok. 2 hours to Bangkok
6 hours to buriram. Bangkok is good for a week.. City is too overwhelming. Jomtien Pattaya still relatively easy motorcycles
driving.
