I can't believe this is a real scam but apparently it works! PS: 70% of my viewers aren't subscribed so come join the adventure!!
They are doing the same stuff here in Tbilisi now (it wasn’t 2,5 years ago)
They've been doing things in Vegas for years upon years
It’s fine if I donate to him since he is giving me a free bracelet 😄✨
I I’m never never going to New York city
I faced many Hindu Pundits and Iskon Guys doing this type of scam.
Just give them money
I saw him in another video
As a Buddhist myself this hurts to watch, it just makes our religion look bad
Why would someone do this
Something similar occurred to me in Tbilisi, Georgia. I was walking when I was stopped by a monk, except he spoke in Chinese and couldn’t understand anything he was saying. He first pressed two fingers against my forehead, probably “blessing” me, and then he gave me a bracelet before asking for money. I gave the bracelet back and quickly walked away. Ngl, these people need to be locked up.
This scam is as old as the "travelling hungry" scammers on the streets and the "buy my music cd" scam.
If someone gives me something before asking for money then it belongs to me and they wouldn't get it back 😮
These fake chinese monks work for large scam syndicate, they're everywhere in the world major cities scamming people's $$
Is that the twin towers? I see behind him in the first few seconds.
These guys scam across vegas too….what a disgrace to actual monks
One thing to look out for to tell if it's a real monk or not… real monks wear sandles, fake monks wear runners/trainers or any other shoes
Real monks don't wear Nike, or any othe closed footwear. The real monks wear sandles
Thank you I am actually about to go there
Scams everywhere 🤡🤮 what a sweet Buddhist…took the bracelet back and ran 😂😂
i seen a truck driver give one of them fake monks $40, the monk turned around and saw me and started walking the other way.
I could see right away that he wasn't a real monk and how could I have seen that. He had pants on underneath, a monk would never wear that.
He’s wearing Nikes……… check is shoes,
😂❤❤❤❤❤
Id snap that bracelet
In Times Square, I told a black man who gave me a bracelet asking for a donation for a charity that I had "No cash." He said I take Venmo or credit cards.
If someone comes up to you to "give" you a "gift", do not accept. This happens all over the world. Anyone being aggressive about giving you something for "free" has an agenda.
i’d do it because good bracelet
This happened to my dad
Never trust monks with running shoes😂
what happens if you run away with the bracelet
Why is zach King there.
A LEGO BAG!!!!
Zach king
Using a god for Money is Actually Terrible…
This has been going on in NYC for years. They asked me for money for their temple that burned down 15 years ago. Amazing that the same scam still exists.
I would've just ran away with the bracelet when he asked for money 😂
even if i didn’t know it was a scam i would still say “Im not buddhist, i dont pray to a god that isn’t my religion, and why would they randomly build a giant temple in nyc”
HMU if you know videos where they get their stuff smacked out their hand 🖐️
Another scam is people claiming to be working for a charity that helps the homeless and not letting you pass by then verbally harassing you for just trying to get where you're trying to go. I blame the liberals of New York City for allowing such harassments to go on and even though I didn't vote for Trump hope that New York begins to change its attitude towards thugs who harass people for no reason and verbally assail them when they just try to go on their way.
Dont ever buy or accept any bracelet that has ties to any religion. It might be cursed . No lie
That happened to me
Ay but it’s basically paying for a bracelet
When I was in a city one of theme put a bracelet on my dad but he said no and the dude took the bracelet back
I would would away with it, as soon as he puts it on your arm he's surrender it to you. So keep it
I believe monks are not for money.
I'd ask for the address of the temple so I can find it on Google Map
Monks doesnt ask money
