Messina Port: The 4-Minute Guide You Didn’t Know You Needed
Messina in Sicily is often used as a launchpad for accessing Mt Etna or the ancient ruins at Taormina. This is our short Port Guide for those who will stop here on a cruise.
We enjoyed exploring all this sleepy city has to offer. We discovered its wealth of medeival churches, marble fountains and impressive architecture as well as the brilliant astronomical clock. Its a sleepy place that also provides very pleasant shopping. We enjoyed its streets and its treats. It was a great port stop and the perfect antidote to the previous sea days.
