Hello Caminotellers and followers! I started my journey September 11 in Puy en Velay, paused in SJPDP Oct 15. Now I will be back this April ti continue my journey to Santiago and hopefully Finistera. Thanks for all the good advices.

Wonderful, Ricky. I did the walk from SJPP in two phases, the first in September 2022 (which ended because of leg swelling), and the second in Spring 2023 (with compression socks). In Fall 2022, after going home, I continued writing to friends on the Camino and their reactions to Sarria were very interesting. One couple said that everything changed and they didn't like it. Another couple said that everything changed and they loved it. When I went back, I just kept it in mind that everything was going to change and pledged to stay positive. What did I see? Yes, there were longer lines, more trash, people talking on their cell phones while walking, but there were also families together, from around the world, and children skipping down the trail. Those kids were an inspiration!

I’m walking the Camino for the first time on May 3rd 2025 starting in Baiona. I will wake up on the Camino on my Birthday May 5th ❤ I’m already planning my Camino de Frances for next year. I want to have the full experience.

Hello friends 😘the Meseta was actually one of my favorite parts…i loved it. I loved the villages so much.. Ofcourse i was already walking for more then 2 months soi already had my "mental" challenge 🙂
For me the Meseta was pure joy ♥
I actually didn't mind "the crowds" after Sarria…by then i had achieved what i promised myself some time ago…if i can't do anthing to change a sistuation, it's no use getting worked up over it…since the moment i was able to do that, i'm a much happier person 🙂
