A virtual walk in Paris, in the 12th arrondissement, along avenue du Général Michel Bizot, Paris, France.

The street already appears under the name “rue de la Voûte-du-Cours” on cadastral maps of the commune of Saint-Mandé dating from the 1850s, before the territory was annexed by the city of Paris in 1860.
It pays tribute to the engineer general Michel Bizot (1795-1855), who was director of the École Polytechnique and participated in the siege of Sevastopol, where he was killed.
