We Traveled to Zaanse Schans – The NATURAL Beauty and the WINDMILLS
Today we will experience historic Holland from a bygone era at the Zaanse Schans. This windmill village on the Zaan River is just 20 minutes from Amsterdam, and you can visit free of charge. Zaanse Schans is a historic neighborhood, with residents who still live and work in a traditional setting. You’ll also find the oldest windmills, unique crafts, shops, restaurants, museums, nature, and scenic walking trails.
