Exploring MALAYSIA’S MOST HISTORIC City
In this video, we take you on a full-day adventure exploring MALAYSIA’S MOST HISTORIC City: Melaka (also spelled Malacca). This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the most fascinating cities in Southeast Asia. Once a powerful trading port, Melaka is packed with colonial charm, rich history, and delicious food.
We took a day trip from Kuala Lumpur to uncover the best things to do in Melaka in just one day. From the iconic Red Square and A Famosa Fort to St. Paul’s Church and the multicultural landmarks along Harmony Street – we cover all the must-see attractions. We also explore spiritual sites like Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, Kampung Kling Mosque, and Sri Poyatha Moorthi Temple, showcasing Melaka’s diverse heritage.
No visit to Melaka is complete without indulging in street food at the famous Jonker Street Night Market! We try local favourites from Mr. Pau’s Tim Sum and King of BBQ.
Whether you’re planning a Melaka day trip from Kuala Lumpur, looking for the top things to do in Melaka, or just curious if Melaka is worth visiting, this video has you covered!

Do also check out the oldest functional church of st peter nearby, which is still being managed by the portuguese community that still lives In Melaka from 1710
You need at least 2 nights in Melaka to take in the views and the local food scenes like the Nyonya cuisines and Satay Celup. They're not to be missed when you're in Melaka. 😊
Malacca has like 10 museums around that small area. I always recommend tourists to visit more than 5 museums when visiting Malacca. What is the point of visiting Malacca without going to the museums to learn a bit about history of the place?
Wonderful. Hope that you guys have had a good excursion trip to Melaka.
Terma kasih datang Malaysia ❤❤❤❤❤
