  1. undoubtedly the rich at all costs must avoid the working class, and most certainly the poor and in need. lest their precious garments be touched!

  2. Love your channel, found it recently, I've always had a whimsical nostalgia for trains (perhaps hereditary gene memory from the 40's, 50's, as I'm born in the eighties 😅), £800 + for a seat you share with someone else though on a small table, seems poor value for money.

  3. Great trip. It's feels like you are doing unplanned collaboration. Thankfully during meal service, the guy moved somewhere. Overall great carriage, great train, and great route.

  4. Hi Kuga, thank you. I have been enjoying your train ride videos. Must say the view is quite underwhelming in the beginning but gets more beautiful as it approaches St Moritz (this is what I heard from others too). I was fortunate to take the Wide View Hida Express from Takayama during winter on a clear day and the wintery scenery was breathtaking, and Japan is much closer to home 🙂

  5. for that price, it should provide the option to be by yourself as a single passenger and not be obligated to share a table with someone that might make your journey less enjoyable.

  6. 800 Euros and you have to share a table with someone that doesn’t shut up!.
Stunning scenery, it would also be nice to see what it looks like in the summer. The food looked great.

  7. Thanks for this vid, Kuga-san. I really enjoy your quiet, observant journeys, where you QUIETLY ENJOY the experience (though, others enjoy more verbal commentary – I guess that German fellow's subs are in that camp).

But, especially when one comes from afar and pays a lot of money for a premium-class, likely once-in-a-lifetime trip, one should have the right to enjoy it in peace. This isn't Disneyland, after all…

Please, "keep doing you" (this means, please keep doing things your own way). Will watch for further vids on this trip. Thanks again, and Cheers!
