Tour Du Mont Blanc (TMB) Trail Notes

#tmb #tourdumontblanc #hiking
All the things we wanted to know before setting out on this epic hike. How to get there, where to camp, resupply and what to pack.

We hiked the TMB in June – July 2022 walking the “traditional” counter-clockwise route starting and ending at Les Houches. The only variant we did was the “high route” on Stage 2 which bypassed Les Chapieux. That night we wild camped near the French/Italian border.

We had two rest/resupply days, at Courmayeur and Champex. So in total the trip took us 13 days.

Les Houches – Les Contamines – Col de la Seigne – Courmayeur (rest and resupply) – Val Ferret – La Fouly – Champex (rest and resupply) – Le Peuty – Tre le Champ – Le Flagere – Les Houches
