Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel — and welcome to Santorini! 🌟
In today’s adventure, we’re starting in Oia, one of the most iconic villages on the island, known for its stunning views over the caldera, narrow streets, whitewashed buildings, and unforgettable sunsets. Later, we’ll hop on a pirate-style boat heading to Palea Kameni, a volcanic island with hot springs where we’ll take a refreshing dip in the warm waters.

Santorini is famous for its volcanic history, and I’ll share how this beauty was created by a massive eruption around 1600 BC that formed the stunning caldera. We’ll also explore the Agios Nikolaos Castle, built in the 15th century to protect the island from pirates.

I’ll also tell you about Oia’s history and how donkeys played an essential role in the island’s past, transporting goods up the steep streets, and even helping with the production of Assyrtiko wine, which is known for its crisp, earthy, and slightly salty flavors. 🍷

Later in the video, we’ll board a pirate boat to Palea Kameni, where we’ll swim in the volcanic hot springs, feel the warmth of the water, and take in the beautiful views.

Don’t miss the ferry prices, bus transportation details, and even a peek inside the Power Jet that will take us back to Crete at the end of the day.
