Phnom Penh has changed more than any city in S.E.A.. I was there in 2001 and there were zero buildings over 8 stories tall. Most of the tall buildings were only 5-6 stories! There were many dirt roads in the city. I think the first escalator in the country had opened in a mall that same year. They had to have staff at the top and the bottom to instruct people how to use the escalator!! Amazing amount of growth in one generation.
I would love to go back. Cambodia is a gem. Happy Travels
Such a beautiful temple, truly stunning.
Hello Gabriel. Rent a motorcycle and drive to Udong. It's the old capital of Cambodia. Tonle Bati is a nice ride as well. π
14:10 β Speaking of what you said a beer was called (Hanuman) there reminded me of the fact that I know a guy who went to Hahnemann Medical College in Philly (Philadelphia). It has since been renamed Drexel University.
Safe travel ! Love your sharing β€
Templesβ architecture and interior decor are beautiful over there!
You cut the video off before you showed what you ate!
I love food shots and details, please.

The scanty, modest breakfast @1:10 doesn't look to be worth much more than a dollar. But you are paying $6.25! Is the 49% US tariff tax effect already kicking in?
After Such a tragic modern history im glad conditions seem to be improving for the Khmer people.
Have fun daddy! Come home soon, we miss you!
as quoted earlier you are dual nationality do you file tax in canada or US?

I must have been following your channel a while as I think I remember last time you were in Cambodia, I seem to remember you vlogging around the old market in Siem Reap drinking a fruit shake but I could be mistaken. Anyway welcome back to Cambodia, I've lived been here for best part of 20 years and seen a lot of change in that time especially Phnom Penh
With US tariffs, prices aren't going to hold. Cambodia got hit with some of the biggest ones.
+49% increase is got to be absorbed from somewhere in the country, and the locals don't have it.
I'm so excited to see upcoming videos of your adventures in Cambodia! I wish you were going to be there longer than a week. I'm super interested in Cambodia, as it's a country I don't know too much about.
I think it's called Mekong river.
Awesome walk! At 12:20, I see a big US flag on your left. Is that a US Embassy?
13:46 Yes, it's the statue of Genesha, son of Shiva. According to Hindu mythology, he was born with a normal head, but due to some slanders, he was beheaded by his father. Later on, Shiva found that Genesha was innocent, and he found a dead elephant then used its head as Genesha's head.
Genesha is believed to represent wisdom and prosperity.
That breakfast did not look nice but cheap
Wow 9 years , welcome back to Cambodia
Thank you for sharing such a great video about Phnom Penh during your second visit to Cambodia! Wishing you the best of luck and a joyful Khmer New Year celebration!
This country is digusting slump full of misery and crime
at 12:33 where u see the US flag in the background that the US embassy.
Thank you Gabriel. The $1 was well worth it. It was beautiful inside.
Slowly life in Phnom Penh.
Attractive healthy breakfast lunch dinner from our Cambodia authentic culinary
So funny. I watched this video just now and live in BKK1. In fact, I ate at Herb Cafe earlier today, which is where he stopped for lunch at the end of the video. He should've gone over to Bassac Lane. Much more nightlife there.
Cambodia is hands-down one of my favorite places on earth that I've visited so far, and here are a few reasons why: safety, good infrastructure, a good healthcare system, a high standard of living, great food, quality education, cleanliness, public consciousness, effective bureaucracy, environmental awareness, and more. Cambodia is a place of opportunity.
