Japan: First-Timer Tips

  1. Thanks Anfisa! Great Work!!!!

What is really interesting, when comparing public parks in your country and in Japan, is the size and architecture of green spaces!

In Belarus, you inherited from the revolutionary period of the CCCP a very specific set of urban planning rules on a vast territory. It seems that architecture is trying to occupy a huge public space dedicated to people. You can feel the industrial touch and the will to build brand new cities (even if they have existed for centuries) that correspond to the brand new society that breaks with the inequalities of feudalism.

In Japan, feudalism and the emperor still exist, so no deep urban changes for a brand new society! The architecture of green spaces in cities seems to preserve the legacy of feudalism. However, there was a progress when landscape architects transferred this knowledge reserved for imperial castles to public spaces (since the reconstruction of the country in 1945).

As you know now both countries what do you think about my analysis?
I will be glad if you can correct my misunderstandings!

  2. The hotel and shopping not chip
The Avusturya and Çekya 🇨🇿 better chip than japan. So I think you gave wrong information to those who are going to be trapped. And train system its wonderful, but price its expensive than europe

  3. Thank you so much for your posting & Very good advises!

The reason people are quiet on Japanese trains is to prevent blind people from getting confused (not being able to hear the announcement of the station name to get off at.)

  4. Just recently, there was another Japanese in Belarus arrested for espionage. Apparently, he's "guilty" because he took photos of trains while traveling in Belarus. That was all over Japanese media outlets. Japanese expats randomly get arrested in Belarus….so I don't think it's correct to say we have "good" relations. We never once had good relations with Soviets/Russians, but we still issue travel visas.
