We spent 10 DAYS Driving across Northern Italy | Como, Milan, Venice, The Dolomites

Welcome to Italy! We’re on a road trip from the crystal-clear Lake Como, through Shakespearean Verona and gondola-gliding Venice, and finishing in the Italian Dolomites for some epic hiking. Buckle up for an epic 10-day Northern Italy road trip itinerary through fairy-tale landscapes and historic towns!

0:23 – Lake Como
We’ve been spending the last few days at Lake Como, and it’s where we start our drive. Beginning in Bellagio and Varenna, exploring historic castles, movie set villas, and even a swim in Lake Como.

2:36 – Milan
We’re looking into some of the best things to do with 24 hours in Milan including Galleria Vittoria Emanuele II, a trip to Duomo di Milano and it’s rooftop terraces, and Castelo Sforzesco.

3:41 – Lake Garda
On our Drive from Milan to Venice, we pass Lake Garda on the way and can’t resist a swim here. As we arrive, we dive into the crystal-clear waters and bask on the sunny beaches of Lake Garda, before heading on to Romeo and Juliet’s city itself!

4:08 – Verona
We visit Juliet’s balcony and the ancient Arena di Verona before wandering through the bustling Piazza delle Erbe and savouring the lively atmosphere.

4:40 – Venice
For our final city stop, we explore Venice, where you can glide through the iconic canals on a classic gondola ride. We marvel at the architectural wonders of St. Mark’s Square and the Doge’s Palace. We discover hidden treasures around every corner and get some of the vest views that Venice has to offer.

6:28 – The Dolomites
As we arrive in the Italian dolomites, we immerse ourselves in the charming village of Auronzo di Cadore nestled amidst breath taking peaks. We the venture to the awe-inspiring Tre Cime di Lavaredo and Cadini di Misurina on a breath-taking hike in the Dolomites! We hike the 10km circular route, passing Forcella Lavaredo, Rifugio Auronzo, Laghi dei Piani and more!
