Let’s Fly FlyDubai Business Class
Dubai based and low cost but are they low service? Let’s find out together as I fly from Dubai to Zagreb in business class on FlyDubai.
If you’re flying from Australia, Asia, Africa or the Americas to one of the smaller cities in Eastern Europe, the Middle East or Central Asia there’s a chance the leg from Dubai will be with Fly Dubai. Whilst not owned by Emirates they do have a very close partnership arrangement. So what is FlyDubai like and should you be worried that the standard is a big step below that offered by Emirates?
The first big difference you’ll notice is that FlyDubai operates narrow body (planes with one aisle) 737 aircraft whilst Emirates have an all wide body (planes with two aisles) fleet of 777, A350 and A380s.
This comprehensive FlyDubai business class flight review covers all the aspects of the FlyDubai onboard experienced including their cabin, seat, inflight dining, inflight entertainment and their cabin service.
On the ground in Dubai I got to use the Emirates Business Class lounge so I’ll show you that too.
Thanks for watching, if you haven’t yet subscribed please consider doing so. There’s lot’s more reviews on the way.
Happy travels!

NIce what is that jacket??
Oh, wat heb ik jouw vlogs gemist,Dennis?! Zalig!
Ik krijg altijd de vakantie gevoel als ik ernaar kijk. Vele dank.🙏😍
EK should just fold FlyDubai into their brand/operations, like SQ did with SilkAir and CX did with Cathay Dragon. At least in my opinion. Thanks for the review Dennis!
Couple of questions how long is the flight and is it as good as Emirates?
Thanks for the info + video!
Thanks Dennis. That looked pretty good. Got me all excited to see all the Emirates planes. Another long haul flight to Athens on them in BC. Bonus we are on the updated 777 which will be interesting to fly. My brother and his wife are coming with us. Shouted them this trip after a difficult start to the year. They have never flown BC. Cant wait to see their faces. I took them in the Brissy Qantas lounge a few years ago and they thought they were it and a bit lol Safe travels.
Fly Dubai Business gets to use Emirates Business lounge at DXB ?
Dennis needs to be more consistent in making videos I use to love his videos then he stopped for a couple years I bet he’d have a million subs if he was consistent with it.
What people forget about their bodies being temples is that like all good religious buildings and institutions, our bodily temple requires frequent sacrifices and offerings of comfort, good food and drink. So in addition to the healthy foods, desserts, good steaks and fine wines are also required offerings.
I Havent Experinced FlyDudai Jet.Great Video And Info
Fab Video Dennis. Thank you
Great surprise and finally airline that also flies to Ljubljana!
Just so everyone is aware, accessing the T3 Emirates Lounge is not the norm; you'd just be lucky the gate assignments overflowed and that Flydubai and EK share the same parent company. T2 and the Flydubai lounge there are not so impressive.
Thanks for the video!
I used to fly flyDubai fairly regularly out of Kabul, mainly because there were four dailies to DXB (vs one with Emirates), and they were far less expensive. Once they formed an especially close tie with Emirates (but not "owned" *cough*), their fares on the KBL-DXB route were identical, and other routes I'd flown, notably DXB-NAP & DXB-CTA, went up substantially. All that being said, I found them to be reliable, and had a nice business class product. I just hated DXB Terminal 2 with a passion. Even after some flights switched to Terminal 1, you'd still end up bussing to a remote stand. Ugh. So I ended up switching exclusively to Emirates for my travel in the region.
Does the throne seat cost more?
We need weekly reviews, please! Thank you!
great video, Dennis.
Loved the justification for dessert 😂❤
Great review, Dennis. I've seen FlyDubai and their 737's and wondered what the business class product was like. I'll choose them in the future. And your dessert was very healthy because the fruit on top cancelled out the calories of the rest of it. Safe travels!
Fantastic trip report as always Dennis!😸
Lucky you that your flight left from the better terminal. In February, my first time in the UAE, like a rookie I took the train to the airport only to find out there's no way to connect to Terminal 2 from either 1 or 3, other than an €11 taxi ride, delivering you to an absolutely underwhelming barn of a terminal 🫤.
hey Dennis. can you publish the name of the music you play in this video please.
Emirates owns Dnata, one of the best catering companies, but in Dubai, they have their own dedicated catering service. If FlyDubai are using them….
I’m glad you got to mix fruit with saturated fat-it’s the only way to go.😋😉
Great video Dennis! Really enjoyed it and I hope to try Fly Dubai 🇦🇪 someday soon! Also landing into Croatia 🇭🇷 must be cool! I’ve never been to Croatia yet but I have been to Slovakia 🇸🇰 that’s as close as I have been and I did see that BEAUTIFUL Croatia Airlines A220 shown at 8:25
Cheers 🥂 mate what a great video!

Great video
I don’t like the thought of doing longer international flights in narrow bodies, even in business class. However THIS business class on a narrow body would be no problem at all!
Is the guy in the video, Scott Morrison's doppelganger
Never heard of fly Dubai , will have to look into it for the next flight to Aus, good one Dennis. Thanks
Thanks for your great reviews! Always enjoy your perspective. Hopefully can try their business product someday.
Flew in economy a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Was a short hop, but definitely wouldn’t mind spending a few more hours. I would say it’s equivalent or slightly better than Saudia economy class (especially considering IFE ) on narrow body and that’s a pretty solid economy product.
I hate Croatia with a passion. Wildly, exorbitantly overpriced and bad food everywhere. You can do so much better elsewhere, like in Greece for example.
Thanks for doing this report as I have been curious about FlyDubai.
Can I ask about our comparitive heights, I am nearly 2 meters tall and could be a lineman in American Football and was wondering how you would compare so that I can get an idea of their business class seats. I dont expect them to be great for me, but would give me an idea.
I watch everyday for one of your new entertaining videos. Up here in Canada we need a little happy entertainment at the moment. Thank you
Did you just upgrade to business class? Saw another review created a year ago and seems not a good review.
