HU: Ebben a részben Angkor Wat-ba, Kambodzsa ősi khmer városba látogatunk el, mely igazából egy hatalmas templomkomplexum. A XII. században épült harminc év alatt. Méreteiről árulkodik, hogy harmincezer munkás és ötezer szobrász dolgozott rajta. Ma is működő vallási központ, fontos szerepet tölt be mind a hinduk, mind a buddhisták körében. A templom Kambodzsa jelképévé vált – megjelenik a nemzeti zászlón és címeren, és ez az ország fő turistalátványossága. Angkor Wat természetesen az UNESCO világörökség része.
Egy modern kori érdekesség pedig, hogy Angelina Jolie a Tomb Raider című filmének egyes jeleneteit itt forgatta. Azóta minden odalátogató turista célja, hogy készítsen egy fotót a hatalmas fa alatt, ahol a híres filmszínésznő is megjelent 🙂
A kisfilm végén pedig sétálunk egyet Siem Reap-ban, mely a legközelebbi város és kiinduló pont Angkor-hoz.
EN: In this episode we will visit the ancient khmer city in Cambodia: Angkor Wat. This huge temple complex was built in the 12th century in 30 years by 30 000 workers and 5 000 sculptors. It is still a functioning religious center, playing an important role among both Hindus and Buddhists. The temple has become a symbol of Cambodia – it appears on the national flag and coat of arms and is the country’s main tourist attraction. Angkor Wat is of course part of the UNESCO World Heritage.
Another interesting fact is that Angelina Jolie was playing here in her movie Tomb Raider. Since then, all visiting tourists want to take a photo under the tree where the film star appeared in the film.
In the end of the video we will take a walk in Siem Reap, the closest city and the best starting point for the trips to Angkor. The center of the nightlife is the Street Pub here, which I gonna show to you.
