This was my first time using the Paris metro, and… this is what I saw. Two people just pushed through the gates like it was nothing. Is this normal in France?

These guys didnt push trough. These gates cannot be pushed through or forced like that. You can clearly see the gates are letting the guys pass without problems.
That's why security force or police is required to be deployed in such areas for checking so that someone doesn't do fraudulent bypass . The door shouldn't open without qr or some kind of token passing .
