Great video! Do you know if you can you take dogs up on to the deck of these ferries?
We used to wave to other vans when we had a Mazda Bongo, about ten years ago ( or flash our windscreen wipers – Bongo joke). Now we have a black Fiat Ducato van conversion, so nobody thinks that it is a camper van until they drive past. So we have stopped waving! I enjoyed your route through Kirkby Lonsdale along the A65 to the M6. If I see Nelson, I will give you a wave. We are planning our first trip this year to Scotland after Easter. Hope you have fun in the Hebrides and avoid the midges.
Simply stunning scenery and the white sand looks like the Caribbean . Thank you for taking us along. x
Hi guys great video as always, just got back from an epic 2 week road trip ( yes we had all that great weather window)going the opposite direction as yourselves, simply epic, enjoy your trip, looking forward too the coming videos 😎🤞
The VW Wave comment made me laugh! However sad it may sound, this is one of the aspects I was rather over-excited about. I've turned it into a game, and I seem to be running at a rather sorrowful 20% wave-back rate!! Shocking!
Thoroughly enjoyed this. We always try to wave at fellow dubbers. Usually get more feedback in coastal areas. Enjoy your trip 😃
Loving this video and reliving our own journey from North Somerset to Scotland. We also stayed alongside Loch Lomond in one of the car parks you referred to. The ferry from Oban to Castlebay was awesome. So looking forward to the rest of of your Hebrides adventures
Scenery looks amazing so looking forward to seeing your adventures ❤
Great video, looking forward to seeing the rest of your trip 😊
Great drone shot for last few seconds of the video! Perfect.
Living the dream! So interesting to see the journey up & just fantastic with the country music too! I thought the song was worried man blues John Seeger/ Johnny Cash. So sorry, I’ve had Johnny Cash accompany me all around Cornwall! Really uplifting, so professional, I’d wave to you from my VW! X
Stunning 🤩
I don’t want to seem as if I am obsessed with your gear, Jackie, 😮 but have been admiring your bag which looks a good and practical one. I’ve checked the usual sources and can’t find it – where’s it from, please? And more importantly, your videos just get better and better, loving the locations, amazing weather ( or do you only record when the sky is blue 😂) and Richard challenging himself with camera effects 😂
I have a VW camper and I wave. But not all the time. It depends on the road, traffic etc. However, I'm pretty sure that since I've been in a high top 'dub, my return waves have got less. Seems I'm no longer 'cool'…. 🤣
We're soon to do pretty much the same route as albeit from north to south. We'll be watching with interest for tips!
Great vid
The droneshot right at the end was beautiful, what a sunset ❤
Cracking watch again guys we’re in France at the moment, love the highlands haven’t done the outer Hebrides yet so will keep a close eye on your channel ! Have fun xx
We were looking out for you out there. We were at houisinis on Wednesday. Crossed back over this morning and are at invercoe tonight. We were very fortunate with the weather on our first trip over on those islands. Loved it!
Great video. We’ve been following your channel since we bought our 4WD VW campervan, Viktor, almost a year ago. Your Winter ski trips inspired us & this year we toured the Alps staying in Airbnbs but also skiing from our van in a fabulous campsite in Huben, Austria to Solden & Obergurgl. We’re also keen sea kayakers & our van is now fitted with a Kari-tek kayak carrier. We’re also keen hope to tour the Hebrides with them so if you see any sea kayakers out & about let us know. Enjoy your trip – Lesley & Dave, also happily retired & enjoying adventures
P.S. We hiked & backpacked the West Highland Way when we met ~20 years ago. We ate at the Drovers Inn & had the worst hangovers ever afterwards. I don’t know how we made it to the end of the next days hike 😂
I was at a campsite last week and found myself doing my own rate the shower!!😅
