There are also personal medical devices such as Optune that use lithium batteries , doesn’t sound like they’d be allowed with the new regulations. Up through last year people flew with Optune with no problem.

It's about time airlines crack down on "Carry on" bags. I've had to gate check my carry on (which was quite small, only a 3 day trip), because peoples carry on and personal bag were the largest possible, in effect making them 2 carry ones.

That music is really annoying & unnecessary

So as long as I can remember, my carry-on bag was usually was considered a personal item bag and is like a backpack in my purse to boot once I was old enough to carry a purse so I was just a purse and then like a backpack is that still legally allowed to like have like a purse as a personal I am back but then like a backpack as a carry-on if they both Within the dimensions allowed or would they not let me do both a backpack in a purse note for me I need to be able to have things on my back/not have to hold them in my hand do the fact that while my hands since I’ve been 23 and no, I’m 31 out but since I’ve turned 23 so since I was 23 why my hands is always taken up by my mobility device known as my white game I came for by leaving me kind of with one hand to catch myself if I fall so I usually pick two bags that I don’t have to hold in my hand to just do accessibility hence why I usually do like a backpack And person in one of them is usually able to fit over like over my arms like over my throat and then the back is that still allowed or I have to choose one or the other because I usually do just a backpack and then a purse and for my next trip, my purse is one of those mini backpack style purses and then an axle decent size backpack One that I got specifically to be able to hold my iPad which is I use knowing for this right here also as excessive technology due to my disabilities and it has a special slot where it could just be in it be protected, so would I be allowed to do both or what I had a rethink within less than a weeks time how I’m gonna do a carry-on and personal I am back no I’m already checking one day as it is and I’m pretty sure both my parents will have two bags my mom will have to. She’s not gonna bring her purse. She said she’d pack that do a different bag for her personal item but then I carry on my death pike I have two arms as well so I don’t know if a small purse like a backpack and a normal backpack would be allowed instead of a backpack as a personal item in a bigger carry-on because the backpack that I would use is smaller than the carry-on allowance and my little purse I use is usually smaller than a person. I am size aloud so would I still be able to go that way just because it’s accessible for me and it’s still under the dimensions please somebody let me know or point me in a direction to where I can find out before 5 PM this coming Friday, 14 March because I need to be packed by no later than 7 PM on Friday the 14th Thanksgiving. I gotta be at my airport by eight30 8:45 AM on Saturday, 16 March so I need to have as much heads up as possible so if somebody could either let me know if that would work for my carry-on special item or if I need to rethink that so I can do so ASAP

Of course won’t come overhead business. I never struggle with that because due to my multiple disabilities, I always qualify for the pre-boarding so that does help I swear sometimes my pants get to come on pre-board with me if it’s all three of us or just my mom is just fit just been her. They’ve been a few times so my parents got me the pre-boarding to my baseball war in record boarding didn’t go so great though it is one of the few times, but due to my disability, the generalized anxiety autism in the lack of eyesight. I actually qualify for pre-board and if you qualify for pre-board, I swear it does help with getting the bins too because the been a few times where I’ve struggled with my pants and if it wasn’t for the fact that I do to my disabilities qualified for pre-boarding we probably would’ve gotten the one or two bags that Had to go up there to the space up there so if you qualify for pre-boiling like if you or someone in your traveling party has physical limitations that would keep them from getting on and off quickly or anxiety disorders could qualify if no divergency is a thing and you are wrong with travel parties or if you are member your traveling party has served or is currently serving as well as if you’re traveling with young kids those are all qualifications for priority boarding if you qualify for that for just you or just one member in your entire party I suggest from personal expense using it, especially if you have bags that definitely won’t fit underneath the same one review because you would definitely be the first ones on and be able to get your stuff up in the overhead compartments take it from someone who does qualify for that and has use the fact that due to disability qualify for pre-boarding to the event is to make sure them and whoever they’re with can get overhead bins for the bigger carry-on item in the group.

Agree background music is distracting and annoying and just not required

I like how the stock footage at 10:56 shows a guy being a total douche by putting his (probably oversized) carry-on in the bin sideways, taking the most space possible, while the narrator talks about packing efficiently and using smaller bags.

Edit: oh it just got even better. 11:28 "consider buying a bag that fits under the sat in front of you." Stock footage shows an exit row, in which passengers cannot use the space under the seats in front of them.

I flew a lot in the 80’s and early 90’s and there was almost never overhead bin space issues.

Also people respected fellow passenger assess to overhead bin space. Passengers too their bags, and used bins above the row they were sitting in. Now it put bag up in first available bin. And walk to back of plane.

I either have priority boarding or pay to board early, and countless numbers of time I have watched someone put their bag into a bin above me, then proceed to the back of the plane.
Which now means people boarding later and sitting in earlier rows run the risk of no space for their bag, or their bag having to to be placed further back!

You showed a knife in the carry-on…. Pretty sure that's not allowed. 🙂

10:47 I wish I could bring a pocket knife in my carry-on! Alas, not even a little 58mm Victorinox Classic with non locking blade… because TSA is silly.

Is there a weight limit on the Personal item bag? You said the carryon bag is a max 17 to 22 pounds based on airline.

TSA didn't allow my contact lens solution. WTF?
