      The strength of the US passport and EU passports is not the same. If there is a free Europe today, it is because the USA intervened in Europe in the 2 World Wars. Today, EU leader Germany is again slowly rebelling against the USA with such practices.

      Do you literally have to have every place you are going to stay laid out? What if you plan to stay 89 days and want some flexibility on where you will stay without pre-planning every stop and accommodation?

      Hello could please share your opinion about my situation?

      I have obtained a visa for 3 months period with 30 days stay limit. I didn’t realize but unfortunately i stayed 2 days more in the Schengen area total 32 i learned that at the airport when i was leaving the Schengen Area so can I apply again and this situation negatively affected my next application.

      Hi! First of all, it’s not working yet, it’s in the process, and right now you can go as usual! It says on EU WEBSITE! And probably before summer! All I want to say: it’s coming, but not changed yet!

      Why show a map where the UK (and Northern Ireland) are shown in dark blue like EU countries on the continent being part of the Schengen area?
      If the idea was to show the Schengen area, the question could also be extended to be why is Norway missing?
      Norway is not in the EU, but is part of the Schengen area and that has a historical explanation: Travelling between Nordic countries without passport was introduced in 1952 and Norway became part of the Schengen area to keep that.

My friend and I are from Virginia in the USA, looking to study and work abroad, kind of backpacking through Europe specifically, do you have any tips for us? We are currently doing a TON of research and saving money to prepare! We want to go in the summer of 2026!

      Good – Due to the updater procedures Donald Trump will be stopped before leaving USA if using his private passport as he is a convicted felon. As a diplomat, he may still enter.

      I just learned that it is not going into effect until the third quarter of 2026. I spent the time filling out the form just to have them delete everything and inform me of this.

      I'm transiting through ams airport from america to dublin ( I'm a british citizen). Do I need an Etais or transit visa just to pass through the airport?

      Hi, Just to reconfirm to ensure I did not miss out on any latest developments. I hold an Australian passport and will be visiting Switzerland and Austria in May this year. Based on the video and update, I take it that I do not need a Schengen Visa to enter these countries. Thanks ahead.
