  1. So far the best clams in sake we had was at Robata Jin in Beppu.. was light , refreshing , umami and balance… they did a mean plate of smoky grilled pork dish had to get 2 servings

  2. There are so many museums to visit in Ueno!! I love that! ❤ The food at the Panda Cafe looked super delicious. The dorayaki looked scrumptious! I love anything with azuki beans/paste. Visiting a Japanese temple is still on my bucket list. Maybe in a week that will get marked off. Ueno seems to be quite the hidden gem. Thanks for sharing your visit there. ❤ Have a great weekend, guys!

  3. I’m born and raised in Hawaii, with Hawaiian , Filipino and Japanese ancestry. I love all this type of foods similar to Hawaiian cuisine. Someday I hope to travel to Tokyo, Japan. Thank you for all the vlogs! Love watching the food ones😊❤️

  4. I love Ueno and stay there almost every time I visit Japan. The west side of Ueno called Nezu is another area I stay at and is really fun to explore/

  5. You both are such enjoyable delightful people to explore different areas of Japan and the unique and tasty foods. Mahalo Nui for another wonderful time❤

  6. Agree! It's one of the most exciting station with many shops. We bought some souvenirs from Hanagataya the rice crackers and cookies shop. The bakery cafe looks inviting but we weren't able to get seats as it's crowded most time. Instead we had nice coffee break at a cafe with lovely ambience just outside the station on rainy day. Wish we had better weather and explored further away from the station after watching your video. Thanks for sharing

  7. Good morning 🌅 and greetings from HONG KONG 🇭🇰 SAR. I have been to the UENO ZOO way back in the early 70s when I was just a small child. Ever since, I have never been there again as it was very far from where we used to live in Tokyo. Please correct me if I am wrong, but there weren’t so many museums way back then, but as you had shown, the whole place showcase Japan’s 🇯🇵 cultural areas is amazing. 🤩 Also, outdoor food stalls have increased recently, right ? There weren’t any in the 79s and 80s.

I love all the Japanese 🇯🇵 SAKURA 🌸 🌸🌸🌸🌸and also it’s the right season for PLUM BLOSSOMS and PLUM BLOSSOMS.

Tokyo is very cold 🥶 for these two-three days, so do keep warm.

  8. What a fantastic place to visit
The tour groups sound like a great idea if we dont have you both to show us around . They can show the traditions and teach you the dos and donts .

  9. Can't wait to visit Ueno when we return in October 🎉 we love the museums so thankyou for reviewing around the area. Hope you are both doing well. Thankyou again

  10. This was so great. Thank you Shinichi and Satoshi for yet again giving me ideas of what to do on my next visit (I'll be back in Tokyo in May!) 👏👏
I have visited the National Museum on every one of my five visits to Japan – I love the netsuke exhibit which changes each time, and the gardens behind the museum… but I had no idea that there were other interesting museums in the park!
Now added to my to-do-list! This time I will spend the day in Ueno!

  11. I was just there at Ueno a few days ago! Then went to Sapporo for a few days and now I’m back in Tokyo, Shinagawa. Going home to Hawaii tomorrow. Had a great time in Japan! Until next time…

  12. I love Ueno. First time in Tokyo when I was 19 there was a street performance with taiko drums there. Fond memories. I also loved the sweets café in the park, it's a bit hidden in the zoo area. I'm not sure if it's still there. And the food trucks in the park are great. They switch with the seasons so it's always fun to check out.

  13. Mouth watering episode indeed guys! It given me an idea of having a street food hopping dinner evening when I am there in late April. Defo staying away from the sake cockles!

  14. I saw on the news that there were quite a few foreign tourists in Japan during the first three months of 2025, and your videos confirm it. The place you visit is always packed!
