  1. Important note: When the interlocutor on the train, a historian, says "we", he means the Serbs who formed that Yugoslavia. The remaining Croats and Slovenes at that time never had their own state and lived within Hungary and Austria, later Austria-Hungary. If Yugoslavia had not been formed, they would still be living on the territory of Italy, Austria and Hungary today.

  3. 4:02 Sir, I don't know when you filmed this, but you passed under the canopy at the entrance to the station in Novi Sad, which recently collapsed and killed several people, including children. This is why protests are still going on all over Serbia today.

  5. Lovely video, the only trouble i have with it, like with the rest of "western" documentaries about Serbia, is that they focus a lot on gypsies and their culture, which isn't Serbian at all, like its not Romanian. But… it is what it is.

  6. You are lucky you are alive. This train station you have started from had part of its canopy collapsed due to bad works and corrupt government killing 16 ppl and causing national unrest which last for nearly 6 months.
