Rovinj – Croatia | The Pearl of Istria
In this episode, we will take you to Rovinj Croatia, one of the most popular towns of Istria. This historic place is more than 2000 years old and dates back to the Roman Empire. When you walk on the picturesque streets of Rovinj you can really feel the centuries of history. Under Venice rule for more than 500 years, this small fish town flourished as a port and gained its popularity. The main building of the old town is the church of St. Euphemia, and we will climb189 steps (41 meters) of the church tower to show you the beautiful 360- degree view. From this high, you can see the whole town and the 22 surrounding islands, and you can also enjoy the view to the amazing Adriatic Sea.
