Metro's zijn zó anders in Frankrijk! De rubberen banden maken het af
Mooi!
Looks like a Siemens product.
CityVAL is such a beautiful system. Thanks for the awesome video and footage!
I can't get enough of the absolutely massive tires – they're so wide!
I wonder why the windows look so dirty/foggy in the beginning – strong AC and very humid day?
The Rennes metro system is really great and transports a surprisingly high number of passengers every day compared to the size of the city. (More than the population of the city proper).
It's fast, comfortable, easy to use, and well built.
Both lines are really cool, the A line has the "singing" VAL 208 trains, and line B uses the NeoVAL / CityVAL system.
When I visited last summer, there were Dutch paralympic athletes training in Rennes (BMX) and who were riding line B near the elevated Eastern terminus station.
