Iceland Ring Road Highlights: Drive through Eastern Fjords

[Music] Earlier today, we drove the challenging Excy Pass on the way to the Eastern Fjords. Down. We made it down, Ed. You did a good job. [Music] It’s green and we stopped because Adam bookmarked it and it has some sort of scientific significance because it’s rare. But other than that, it’s a roadside [Music] stop. It’s so cold here. So cold here. The fjords are out and they’re [Music] glorious. We are heading back to the car. making our way to the big. It’s really pretty here. I’m so glad we came back cuz it’s so blue. Like the blue stone of [Music] Galveastston. We saw a puffin. Soon we’ll be seeing a bakery. [Music] We’re at Cisum Broadhouse. It’s a bakery. It’s a proper bakery. We had to drive through a tunnel. The only bakery within like 12 hours. Got a bread, but baked items. They had a selection of lots of bread. Seeds and lots of breads that didn’t have seeds and just lots of breads. Lots of breads. Really such a pretty town here. Definitely not touristy. [Music] We made it to the snow. We’re going to hike to some waterfalls probably. We’re going to go see some rainbow streets. I have a feeling we’re going to see some puffins, but not the puffin that you’re thinking about. Different puffins. And uh yeah, it’s pretty glorious up here. All right, let’s go walk in some [Music] snow. Okay, let’s go check it out. [Music] Coming up, our evening walk in Sedish viewers to the domes and other artistic exhibits and more waterfalls. [Music] Volcanic ash is in the forecast from the eruption back east. [Music]
