Long Way to the Camino Pt1

300 p.m. I have just checked into my hostel in Bayion. This is my bed. Uh so far the journey started 10:00 yesterday. I got the train into London. I got the Euro Star across to Paris, changed on the metro, then took the night train down from Oelitz, arrived this morning, and then I’ve been kind of walking around town waiting till I can check in. So, now I’m going to go have a shower and chill out for the afternoon. My train is booked tomorrow at 11, which will take me to the starting point.

I’m heading off to complete the Camino de Santiago this May. But first, I need to get to the starting blocks which involves a lot of train journeys and a few sleeps. I’ll load the second half of the journey to St Jean Pied de Port tomorrow and then I will be setting off on foot.
