I Had No Idea Malaysia Would Be THIS Crazy!

You won’t believe what Malaysia has in store — and neither did I!

Get ready for a new journey! In this Malaysian travel vlog, I kick off my 3-month motorcycle travel adventure across one of the most vibrant countries in Southeast Asia. After a long flight, I discover the energy of Kuala Lumpur — a city that’s buzzing day and night! ✈️

But first, I have a little mission: freeing my Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid (aka Camely) from airport customs. Sounds simple? Think again! It turns into an 11-hour endurance test of patience, paperwork, and pure willpower.

Follow me through the neon lights, delicious street food, and into the chaos of official bureaucracy. This is just the beginning of a trip full of stunning landscapes, heartwarming people, and the surprises that make travel so addicting.

If you love travel, vlogs, motorcycles, and Malaysia, this wild start will hook you in. Hit play and ride along — because Smiling Eagle Alex is just getting warmed up! 🦅🏍️

  1. I love my country to death, but this is the part that I hate. Because the system tolerate lazy people who don't do their job. Because of this I cannot work in the system as I don't want to ruffle anyone's feathers and topple the apple cart.

  2. Friday is probably the worst working day for any official process with Friday midday prayers interrupting. Tuesday to Thursday are best. Glad you made it. Enjoy our country.

  3. Cargo handling agent role can ensure faster clearence if you get the right one. Nothing to do wth the custom which follow straight to the procudere if the documents in order.

  4. It’s just bad luck. Usually the prosess should be quick if all document is in order and you have a good agent to help you.

  6. Glad everything is ok now for you. Welcome to Malaysia and enjoy your trip and along the way I hope you will meet nice Malaysians who will give their hospitality and ride safely. Make sure you lock your bike and lock your helmet and park at the designate motorcycle parking.

  7. 11 hours is good, most of the issue in malaysia is not superb efficiency. the people here are the chill type like australia, new zealand. how much did it cost you for shipping over. Don't expect much on Friday yeah, it is prayer day, they can be off for 3 hours, so those counters are super slow. you haven't experience the shipping through sea, even much of a nightmare, container ships may be 5-7 days out there waiting for clearance going in. another 5 days to pass customs. malaysia is not as efficient as Singapore, worlds apart in efficiency

  8. As a Bangladeshi, Malaysia is a heaven because Bangladeshis, Pakistanis and Rohingyas can enter Malaysia at any checkpoint easily. We don't have immigration or custom problems. Malays are kind people because they give us license and permit to open businesses anywhere because we are muslims too. Even city council malay officers always help us to open businesses. We can marry malay women without any problem. We don't like indians because if we try to go near hindu girls, indians can kill us easily…
